Freemasonry has long been mistakenly seen as a secretive organisation and the anti-Masonic web sites, of which there are many; perpetuate a twisted view of the craft. Interestingly, there are a number of really secretive organisations. Some with questionable motives, but they are not attacked in the way Freemasonry is. But rather than dismiss their criticisms out of hand, they will be confronted, addressed and corrected.

Chester Road North, Kidderminster, Worcestershire

The Lodge of St. David was originally founded by masons with Welsh origins or family connections and those who have an affinity for Wales. We maintain a strong Welsh ‘flavour’ to our meetings, with some portions of our ceremonies being performed in the Welsh language. We also, of course, warmly welcome new members who don’t have Welsh heritage. Being a lodge with a Welsh emphasis, our meetings always, predictably include an amount of singing!

Cyfrinfa Dewi Sant is renowned for the warmth of the welcome extended to visitors from other lodges, and to new members. Our members come from an eclectic mix of backgrounds, including Business Management, the Licensed Trade, Art, Accountancy, Transport, Law, Banking, Sales, Teaching, Project Management, and the Emergency Services. Our Regular Meetings take place every 4th Friday in September (our Installation meeting), November, February and April. Some of our events are open to non-members and non-masons and a warm welcome awaits anyone who would like to know more about what we do.
